What is the Auto Tracking
Function?
Auto-tracking is a unique
technology based on PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) systems of PTZ cameras. When a target
object enters the camera’s field of view, the camera automatically detects
and recognizes the object. It then uses the pan, tilt, and zoom functions of
the PTZ system to adjust the camera’s angle and focal length, ensuring that
the target object remains in the center of the frame. If the target object
moves or changes direction, the camera automatically tracks and adjusts its
position and perspective to maintain surveillance of the
objects.
SecuMate Smart Auto tracking
PTZ Camera
The new Auto Tracking, based on AI algorithms,
has been upgraded with various AI technologies. Significant improvements have
been made in tracking performance, addressing the areas of customer
concern.
Smart Decision-making and Adaptive
Control
The AI-based auto-tracking feature also possesses
the capability of intelligent decision-making and adaptive control. The
algorithm can prioritize tracking among multiple targets in the scene and
automatically adjust parameters such as pan-tilt movement speed and zoom
ratio to achieve more precise, smooth, and natural tracking
effects.
PTZ Tracking with Alarm
Linkage
The PTZ tracking technology with alarm linkage is
based on advanced image processing algorithms and intelligent analytics. When
the alarm system detects a security event such as intrusion, perimeter
breach, or loitering, it sends a signal to the PTZ camera to trigger the
auto-tracking function. The camera analyzes the video stream for target
objects and utilizes the pan-tilt movement and zoom functionality of the PTZ
to automatically track and record the location and progression of the
event.
